PFLAG Black Metro Atlanta is an affirming Black space for LGBTQ+ people, families, and allies. We provide peer support, education, and advocacy so everyone can live with safety, dignity, and joy.
An affirming Black space for LGBTQ+ people and those who love them. PFLAG Black Metro Atlanta is a community built by us, for us—where Black LGBTQ+ individuals, parents, families, and allies find support,
trusted resources, and a pathway to advocacy. Rooted in love, we create safer, braver spaces so our
community can thrive.
What we do:

Support: Confidential monthly gatherings and peer support for individuals, families, and allies. No judgment—just community care.

Education: Workshops, panels, and story-sharing that deepen understanding of LGBTQ+ identities and the lived experiences of Black folks across generations.

Advocacy: We uplift Black LGBTQ+ voices and collaborate across Metro Atlanta to make homes, schools, workplaces, faith communities, and neighborhoods more affirming.
